Tournament

  • How are qualifiers being handled?

    In order to place players close to others in their skill level, we will be using a remote qualifier set. Qualifiers will be submitted to SoCal DDR staff, and we will also request other data such as, but not limited to;

    • Skill Attack

    • 3Ice Cream/Sanbai Ice Cream

The qualifiers will be announced on February 15th, 2024 and will be posted on our Zenith Rules page.

  • Why are there qualifiers?

To ensure that everyone gets a fair shot in their pool, we wanted competitors to play and submit qualifiers for the event. We’ve found that sometimes, players only play exclusively a certain level-set or do not play on official eAmusement so this will act as additional information for us for seeding purposes!

  • What tournament format is being used?

All rules for the main Women’s bracket can be found on our Zenith Rules page!

  • Can I qualify in person?

Qualifiers will need to be completed prior to Zenith. Please consult the Zenith Rules page. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to reach out to SoCalDDR staff via email or at our Discord.

  • What difficulties are the qualifiers?

There will be a total of five songs in the qualifier set: a 9, 11, 13, 15 and 17-footer.

Please head over to the Zenith Rules page to see the songs and suggested sets!

  • Why are the qualifier results not public?

The qualifiers for Zenith is only a piece of the puzzle for your seeding placement. We also know that qualifier results can create a lot of pressure in grinding and keeping up with others. We want to get the most accurate data possible and to alleviate any stress that can come with competing for a particular seed placement, we opted to not show qualfier results at this time.

Travel, Venue, and Participation

  • What hotels are in the area? Are there hotel blocks available?

We have partnered with Best Western for hotel blocks. The hotel is 14 minutes away by car from the venue. However, room blocks are now closed as of March 29th.

  • Can I volunteer or help the event in some way?

Yes! Keep an eye out on our Twitter for the call for Volunteer positions; we will do this closer to the event date!
